I'm a huge fan of Naughty Monkey and I am always excited to see what they will come up with next! These Aztec print wedges with braided detailed strap are absolutely amazing! I'm always looking for a good wedge for the summer, and It looks like I may have just found it! I love that the heel is so unique and full of pizazz! Its not to often you see a wedge were the heel, instead of the straps, is the part of the shoe that's catching your eye!

I just got these shoes this week, and I 'm so excited to share them with you! They are some of the most beautiful shoes I've ever owned! The pictures don't do them enough justice either, they look absolutely amazing in person!

It’s not hard to tell just by looking around in magazines, blogs, fashion sites, and at women on the street, that color is HUGE for spring! While jewel tones have been the reigning champs in color for the past couple of seasons, neon has made a huge impact and more recently, sorbet colors are finally back and taking the stage again!

Sorbet colors, named because they resemble sorbet ice cream colors, are some of the more less-intimidating colors to wear. They are sweet and subtle, but can still make a huge impact. One of the more popular ways to wear these pretty pastel colors this season is by sporting some fun colorful denim! Sorbet denim is popping up everywhere, and can be a lot of fun to style!

Wear sorbet with neutrals for a more subtle effect, or style with other pastels for a new take on the hugely popular color-blocking trend. Styling in a monochromatic look is also sure to make a bold, stand-out statement when wearing sorbet colors this spring.

If you are looking for other ways to wear these gorgeous colors, try adding a pretty pastel piece of jewelry to your outfit, or a fabulous scarf or shoes, to give your look a fun pop of color. Sorbet dresses, skirts, and tops are also widely available and can be mixed and matched for another fun take on styling this trend.

One of the great things about sorbet colors, are that they can be extremely versatile and easy to dress up or dress down. Pastel is also incredibly flattering on most skin types and is a such a pretty color palette that It’s sure to stay around for a while!

Honestly I'm not huge into the tribal trend this spring, but for some reason I'm totally drawn to these tribal jacquard heels by Carven. I would find an excuse to wear these with everything! I love the thick heel, and the platform peep toe. The colors are perfect for spring! I mean, who can resist a bright colored sandal anyway?!

Today I tried out the Crackle polish from OPI. I've been dying to try it and finally got the chance! I layered the Black Crackle over Zoya Tosca. Love the fun effect!

JC Penney- Shop Worthy Again?

I live in a very small town with a tiny mall that has 2 department stores, one of them being JC Penney and then about 5-6 other chain stores. When I first moved here 5 years ago from Salt Lake City, I thought I would die. Not that SLC has the best shopping ever but at least there was always plenty of variety and it had most of my favorite stores! JC Penney was one of those places I just walked through quickly and never found anything. When I moved here and wasn't given much of a choice in the way of shopping, I decided to give it a second chance, only to make a few purchases that I later regretted, so in the last few years I haven't shopped JC Penney at all, coming to the conclusion that it was just a huge factory of regrets for me.

When I heard about the re-vamp of JC Penney, I thought, hmm maybe I'll check it out but it probably won't be any different. It wasn't until I got my first catalog, that I could soon see, JC Penney was indeed serious about change and surprisingly full of really great fashion that I would actually wear and love!

While I did check out my local store recently and for some reason it doesn't seem to have gotten the memo on the new change, I've been totally stocking the online store! There is a lot of cute, on-trend skirts, tops, and jackets. My favorites are the gorgeous selection of dresses, and there is a HUGE selection online! I picked out several dresses I'm absolutely in love with, most of which were around only $40!

If you've shunned JC Penney in the past like I have, its time to give them a second chance. The fashion is bright, cheery, fun, and on-trend! And don't forget their new, permanently lowered prices!
