What I Want Right Now: GLO Teeth Whitening System

I'm obsessed with beauty tech gadgets and this is my newest find, the GLO Teeth Whitening System. I drink a lot of tea and red wine is my choice when it comes to alcohol so my teeth get stained pretty easily. Once a year I will buy Crest Whitestrips to get my teeth glowing again in no time, but I have a hard time spending $50 on it! I want a tool I can use over and over for years to come, save me money, and something that of course works!

The GLO Teeth Whitening system is a designed to do just that! This efficient kit gives you dentist office results safely at home and up to 8 shade changes, with an average of 5 shades changes in only 5 days! The kit also claims that it can whiten without causing sensitivity, which is the biggest selling point for me. My teeth are sensitive anyway, so much that I use Sensodyne toothpaste on a regular basis, even when not whitening my teeth! Reviews from customers say that it does indeed not cause teeth sensitivity but there have been reports of the GLO Teeth Whitening System causing some lip and gum sensitivity. All in all, the system gets an average of 4 out of 5 stars on it's reviews, including an 2012 Edison Award Nominee.

So how does this gadget work exactly? Well when used with the GLO Brilliant Whitening Gels and Whitening Mouthpiece, it uses light optics technology and heat to give you a longer -lasting, and faster result then traditional at home whitening kits.

Sephora sells the GLO Whitening System kit, which includes the system, mouthpiece, gels, lip care, and travel bag for $275. This gadget is certainly an investment piece but if you use white strips often, the GLO system will pay for itself in no time.
