Yep! I would, I did, and I'm so glad I did! I heard about the Mason Pearson brushes a while back but was totally skeptical. What more could a $150 brush do for your hair that a $10 goody brush couldn't?!?!
Well, I started hearing very good things about the brush from fellow bloggers and beauty junkies, and was starting to get very curious. An acquaintance on a beauty forum told me she had had her Mason Pearson brush for 20 years! She told me how much she loved it and would buy another one in a second!
Well I started doing my research. I read that regular brushing with a Mason Pearson brush helps stimulate the scalp, increasing blood flow to the roots, distributes healthy hair oils throughout the hair, which in turn helps the hair become more shiny and healthy.
I decided to invest in the Nylon-boar bristle brush. The first thing I noticed was how smoothly it glided through my hair. My hair tends to be really dry and frizzy. It's a bit thick and tends to get tangled easily. This brush takes snarls out so easily and smoothly, it has never hurt my head once to use this brush!
The next thing I noticed was how much more smooth it was making my hair and it was becoming less frizzy! I tend to not brush my hair much in the winter because of the frizz. Brushing usually only makes it worse, but not with the Mason Pearson brush! My hair was becoming more tame. I loved that it was cutting down on the frizz. Within a week or so of brushing daily, I also noticed my hair was starting to become more shiny and seemed more healthy.
I know I'll have this brush for a very long time and to me that makes this investment worth it. I love what it's doing for my hair. Other brushes have only seemed to make my hair more dry and frizzy. The Mason Pearson brush feels great, makes me hair shiny and smooth, and cuts down on the frizz. Thats exactly what I've always wanted for my hair!

These items are from the Moda Vacation collection from George at Asda. I love the nautical tops and the yellow and navy blue combination. Unfortunately I don't fit into the sizes, butthis collection inspired me to FINALLY pick up a cute nautical striped top. I'm still looking for bright yellow shorts to pair with it! Love this combination!

I have thin, short eyelashes I feel like I always need to curl and apply mascara too, usually a couple of coats, to get my desired look. I heard about the latest lash growth serums and was dying to give it a try.
RevitaLash is formulated with a powerful fusion of soothing botanicals and peptides, that nourishes the lashes.
The directions say to apply once a day, directly over lash line. Applying is very easy. Sometimes I would get too much and it would fall into my eyes when I first applied. It would sting for a minute but I would just wipe it away. I've learned since to brush a little off on the side of the bottle before applying and this has been effective in keeping it out of my eyes.
I started the serum the week of christmas, and within a month, I could tell a difference! My lashes were looking longer, fuller, and even curlier. After a few months, it looked as if I had already used the eyelash curler! I'm now at four months and couldn't be happier with the results! My eyelashes look better than they ever have. I love how they look naturally now so much, that I've even gone out in public a few day without applying mascara or curling my eyelashes before hand! Gasp! :)
The only bad thing about this product I've noticed lately, is in the corner of my eye, where I first apply the serum, it gets a little red and puffy at times. When this happens I apply the other eye first, or I just take a break from the serum for a few days, and everything seems to go back to normal.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for longer, fuller, thicker eyelashes! It works! I will continue using RevitaLash, I've been so happy with the results. It will cost you a bit, but worth it!
$98 for a 3 month supply and $150 for a 6 month supply.

My hair is super dry and dull, so I'm always on the lookout for a good product to moisturize it and give it shine. I like to do hair masks regularly but find they can be a bit time consuming. Oils are great because you can quickly apply it to your hair, and more often than a mask.
Mizani's supreme oil goes on nice and smoothly, and didn't make my hair feel weighed down. I noticed extra shine immediately, and it made my dry hair seem a bit more moisturized. I used it in conjunction with my hair mask one of the days and was shocked at how good my hair looked and felt. My hair was super soft and moisturized, and looked very shiny!
Mizani Supreme oil is 99% natural, made with argon oil, sesame, jojoba, avocado, olive fruit, sunflower, and apricot. It does not have silicone, parabens, or mineral oil.
I really liked this product and will continue to use it. I love how easy it is to apply and how quickly I see results. Argon oil is great for skin and hair and I love that Mizani's Supreme Oil contains argon oil.

One of my favorite new products is the Temptu Airbrushing System. I got this last fall and have been a very satisfied customer ever since! The Temptu deposits foundation onto the skin by airbrushing it on for a more natural look. Temptu also offers highlighter and blush that can be airbrushed onto the face.
The Temptu is simple to use. You just place the foundation pod into the system, pull back the lever and spray onto your face in a circular motion. More product is deposited by pulling back farther on the lever. For a lighter coverage, pull back slightly on the lever. Application takes about 3-4 minutes and is so easy anyone can do it! I think the great thing about this tool is its impossible to screw up! It is totally fool proof!
I always have an extremely hard time matching foundation to my skin and almost always end up with a line on my chin or around the hair line. I got the ivory shade and was more than pleased. It far exceeded my expectations. The application looked amazing, matched my skin perfectly, and no line!

I am fascinated with the clip in hair extensions and wanted to try both of these brands out to see which I liked best. Both are made of 100% human hair, and can be cut, died, and styled with hot tools (at a low setting). Both have the same kind of clips used to attach to the hair. I really liked the Jessica Simpson packaging. It was also easy to get the hair in and out of where the Milani Hair packaging is a bit more work to get the hair back into!
The Milani Hair extensions were very close to my natural color. It comes in several smaller pieces you attach throughout your hair, starting at the bottom. It also has side pieces to frame the face which I loved and thought made the extensions look more natural. They were easy to clip in, looked flat and undetectable on my head, and were comfortable to wear. I also liked the feel of the hair. It blended really well into my hair and I was very satisfied with the results.
Here are pictures of the Milani Hair extensions in my hair:
The Jessica Simpson Hairdo extensions comes as one big extension you apply to the bottom half of your head. You put the bottom half of your hair up into pin curls and try to smooth them out flat so they can be tucked into the extension. Although the extension was the closest I could find to my hair color, it didn't match. It was totally obvious it was an extension. I found the extension hard to place and hard to wrap around the bottom half of my hair. I didn't think it looked flat once it was on either. It was also difficult to take off. The clips stayed in well but were hard to get out. I also found it to be heavy and would probably not want to wear it for very long. I also didn't like the feel of the hair as much as the Milani Extensions.
Here are pictures of the Jessica Simpson Extensions in my hair:
Verdict on Jessica Simpson extensions: For $200 for these extensions, Don't waste your money. The Milani Hair extensions are about the same price and well worth the money. I have no doubt I will get my money out of the Milani Hair Extenions! I'm thrilled to start wearing them out!

WHITE SANDS VELCRO STRIPS
I recently found out about these and I'm dying to try them! I haven't used old fashioned curlers in forever but love how simple and time-saving they are to use. I travel a lot as well so I'm always looking for small, easy to travel with beauty items. These would be perfect to pack up in my suitcase instead of a bulky hair dryer and curling iron.
These curlers are simple to use, you just roll them up into wet or dry hair, let sit 10-15 minutes, unroll, and voila! Curls, bounce, texture, and volume!
Unlike old fashioned curlers, these lovely strips are made to not get stuck in your hair or pull it when unrolling! Sounds good to me!
There are lots of great reviews out on this product by many different satisfied woman. Customers are saying its great for getting rid of frizz, which I tend to battle all year long thanks to my super dry hair, and the horribly dry climate I live in.
These strips are very reasonably priced as well, only $36 for a set of 6!
Check them out here:
Here is also a great You Tube link for instructions on how to use the White Sands Velcro Strips:
